How do I record the problem I am having with TTWin3 to a file so that I can send it to your help-desk, so that you are able to better evaluate the issue?

For us to analyse the problem more efficiently, you will need to create a capture file, which is included in all Turbosoft products. A capture file records your session and allows us to play it back so we can see what you see, and pinpoint where your problem occurs and what is happening in the session.

To create a capture file, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Start TTWin
2. Make sure that there is no connection to the host
3. Go to Actions | Capture from the TTWin menu
4. In the Capture tile, set the following options:
a. Filename: C:\ttwinV3.cap
b. Capture to: File
c. File mode: Overwrite
d. Capture mode: Diagnostic
5. Click OK to begin the capture
6. Connect and log into the host
7. Proceed as you normally would, up to the point where the
problem is occurring
8. Go to Actions | Stop capture from the TTWin menu and answer
Yes to the prompt
9. Find the capture file C:\ttwinV3.cap and ZIP the file
10. Send the zipped capture file in an E-mail, using the
subject IRF and a brief description
of the problem in the body of the E-mail.
Send the E-mail to your Turbosoft Technical Support
Representative, or to support@ttwin.com
