How do I remap a key?

TTWin3 offers the option of mapping a physical key to a emulation key or text string/macro. Select Configure|Keyboard to load the keyboard configuration window. This window will display a graphical PC keyboard and a graphical emulation keyboard or a list of available emulation keys depending on the emulation being used.

To Map a Emulation Key:
1. Select a Key or Key combination from the PC keyboard. Eg for ALT+F1, click on the Alt key then the F1 key.
2. Click on the Emulation Key Radio Button, if not already selected.
3. Select the emulation key you want to map.
4. Click on the Map button.
5. After you have finished mapping all the keys, Click OK.

To Map a String:
1. Select a Key or Key combination from the PC keyboard. Eg for ALT+F1, click on the Alt key then the F1 key.
2. Click on the String Radio Button. (You will notice a text box replaces the Emulation Keyboard).
3. Enter the macro string or the text string you want to send to the host in the String text box.
4. Click on the Map button.
5. After you have finished mapping all the keys, Click OK.
