- Available for Citrix, Win2003/2008, XP, Vista, Windows 7
TTWin 3 is Turbosoft's offering for superior Terminal Emulation software and offers new and exciting features, reaching greater heights in usability, configurability and user friendliness whilst maintaining the highest level of quality and reliability.
TTWin 3 has support for more than 80 different terminal emulations and numerous communications protocols giving users access to all hosts from the one product.
Over 80 emulations in the one pack
The emulations you need are available in the one pack, at the one price. TTWin provides the power to create an individual environment to meet the specific needs without compromise, future proofing your organization.
Data security. SSL3 + SSH1 & SSH2
Turbosoft regards data security to be an essential part of a terminal session and as such, we supply industry standard encryption as standard rather than as an additional cost option.
Full keyboard re-mapping
The keyboard mapping is extremely flexible. Users can map text strings, host sequences or emulation keys to any key combination on a PC keyboard. With TTWin the keyboard mapping may be done either through the intuitive graphical keyboard mapper, or through the extremely powerful non-graphical method.
Advanced Printing Support
TTWin has extensive support for print through. This function is totally configurable and implements print through in a way that is highly effective in every environment. Screen printing is also supported, allowing regions of the screen to be printed.
Extensive character set support
TTWin has powerful character selection facilities to cater for the complex character set requirements found in many languages. TTWin comes with full code page support. Emulations may use as many code pages as required. What's more, each emulation can do this independently from other sessions.
DBCS character support
TTWin offers full support for double byte character fonts, including Chinese, Korean, and Japanese language fonts.
Multiple sessions
Several applications can be run concurrently, enabling information from these to be combined or exchanged without re-keying. The multiple sessions are totally independent of each other and may be configured separately. Configuration settings may also be stored and retrieved between sessions.
Powerful scripting language
TTWin's scripting language is TTWin BASIC. Similar in syntax to Visual Basic, this simplifies the learning process. The advanced user can perform complex process on data. This greatly enhances the legacy application with dialog boxes, scroll regions and automatic reformatting of data.
Keyboard Macros
Commonly used functions can be assigned macros or toolbar buttons. This reduces keystrokes and increases productivity. These can be assigned on a per session basis and stored for later use.
Terminal configuration
The terminal characteristics can be modified for increased functionality. These include:
- Switch between 80 & 132 column mode
- Setting the number of lines per page
- Set the line jump scroll
- Change screen colors
Hot Spots
TTWin allows you to create your own Hot Spots providing a Windows style of functionality. This increases functionality, enhances productivity and makes life easier for the user.
Scroll history
TTWin's Scroll History stores information that has scrolled off the screen in a history buffer. This information is stored for each session independently and can be retained between sessions. Operators can move up and down within scroll history as required. The amount of data stored may be configured to suit a wide range of requirements.
OCX Interface
With the OCX Interface TTWin can be made a part of an external application. Through the interface the TTWin screens and functions may be accessed in a natural manner.
Smooth Scaling
TTWin fonts scale smoothly, a feature which enables the consistent and gradual scaling of the terminal screen to the exact size required.
Support for True Type Fonts and Automatic Font Scaling
TTWin offers support for True type fonts. To improve the legibility of TTWin sessions at a variety of sizes, Turbosoft has developed a algorithm to automatically scale the font size to best fit the size of the TTWin window.
User definable toolbars
Create 'point and click' buttons easily. Buttons may have any functions associated with them including activation and deactivation of toolbars and execution of scripts or key sequences.
Login scripts
Functions such as login and entering an application can be automated. The users enter TTWin via an icon and are immediately placed in the application.
Column / row cut & paste
TTWin's ability to transfer data to and from other applications can be used to transfer either row data or column data. Data from the scroll history can be transferred in the same way.
Configurable menu bar
In order to reduce the incidence of unauthorized configuration changes and to enhance security, TTWin allows the administrator to configure the menu to suit his or her requirements. The options available from the top menu bar can be limited to exclude configuration or menu options. This allows centralized configuration, disabling configuration options for less qualified users.
